Privacy isn't a score you max out. Ask three questions: what am I protecting, who from, and how much hassle is it worth?

Hiding a gift purchase from a family member takes a private window. Hiding from advertisers takes a tracker blocker and a better browser. Hiding from a government or a determined stalker is a different discipline — start with the EFF's Surveillance Self-Defense and get help from people who do this work.
